VARELA, Katherine M.

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Thursday, July 07, 2011 Katherine M. Varela, 83, of Camp Verde, passed away on July 2, 2011. She was born in Sewickley, PA. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church and a former long-time employee of The Chapel of the Holy Cross gift shop in Sedona. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Tony, she is survived by her sons Richard & Thomas Varela both of Pittsburgh, PA, daughter Christine Trcic of Sedona, sisters Augustine Facciolo & Nancy Scarchilli, brother Dominic Fote, and three grandchildren, Kimberly Varela Ward and Colton & Collier Trcic.
