SUTTON, Jimmy Lawrence


Flagstaff Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Jimmy Sutton Jimmy L. Sutton died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Flagstaff. He was 57 years old. Mr. Sutton was born on March 25, 1943, in Missouri. After service in the US Army for two years and Army National Guard for 14 years, he became a stationary engineer in Flagstaff. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Flagstaff, as well as the American Legion in Phoenix. Mr. Sutton enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren and he also enjoyed shopping. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Sutton; daughters Christina, Cynthia and Deborah; sons, James, Lee and John; sister Sylvia Waller; brother James Ray; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was proceded in death by his mother Willie Mae; daughter Jean; and sister Dean. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Tuesday at the Elk's Lodge on 2101 N. San Francisco St. and services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix. Arrangements are being handled by Flagstaff Mortuary.
