The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Fred W. Kano [1884-1961] Funeral services for Fred W Kano, 79, who died Friday, [Nov. 21, 1961] will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park. A native of Texas, Kano came to Phoenix 40 years ago. He lived at 1306 E. Hess and was a retired blacksmith. Survivors five daughters; Mrs. Flora Machmer, Mrs, Grace Clark, and Mrs. David Curtis, all of Phoenix; Mrs. Don Cooper of Albuquerquw, N. m. and Mrs Florence Cornwell of Sunland, Calif.; six sons, Herbert of Marysvale, Calif., Sewin D. of Amboy, Calif., Edward and Paul both of Goodyear, Charles of El Centro, Calif. and S.A. of Phoenix; and two sisters out of state.
