Doug learned the truth and was baptized in 1975. He was a devoted husband, father and loving brother and friend. Doug is survived by his wife Carol Riggs; son Douglas Riggs; daughter Desirae Yourgules; and four brothers, Mike Riggs, Steve Riggs, John Riggs and David Riggs. One of Doug's favorite scriptures he shared with others was in Psalms. He wanted people to know that God had a personal name. Psalms 83:18: "That people may know that you whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the most high over all the Earth." Doug provided well for his family of 41 years as a licensed contractor. He was willing to help where there was a need. He was encouraging and had a wonderful sense of humor. Doug touched many lives in so many ways. He will be greatly missed.
