The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ December 1980 Florence Cornwell [Jul. 3, 1921 ~ Dec. 20, 1980] Graveside services for Florience Cornwell, 59, who came here 54 years ago from her native Texas and had been a meat wrapper 25 years until retiring in 1978 will be 11:30 a.m. today in Greenwood Memorial Park, 2300 W. Van Buren. Mrs. Cornwell, 2926 W. Montebello, died Dec. 20, 1980, in St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Tenth Ward. She had worked for Maricopa Meat Packing Co., El Rancho and A. J. Bayless markets. Surviving are her daughter Jo Ann Chamberlain; three grandchildren; four sisters; four brothers.
