Arizona Republic-Phoenix Gazette April 08, 1964 Elbert Magill Machmer, 51, Developer Here Dies Elbert Mgill Machmer, 51, a real estate broker died yesterday in his home at 3501 N. 40th St. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. today in Whitney and Murphy Chapel, 330 N. Second Ave. Requiim High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Theresa's Catholic Chruch,5045 E. Thomas. Mr. Machmer, born in Clay Center, Kan. moved to Phoenix 40 years ago, from Kansas. Before his retirement in 1961, he operated a real estate bussiness here 20 years and developed subdivisions in Phoenix. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 335. Survivors are his wife, Irene; three sons, John, Paul and Gerald, all of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Dallas Price, out of state; and two grandchildren.
