The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ May 1988 MACHMER: Irene Rohder Machmer, 86, a retired legal secretary, died May 2, 1988, in Phoenix, where she resided. Mrs Machmer, who moved to Arizona in 1918 from her native Colorado, who was past president of St. Mary's Mothers Club; past prefect of the Ladies Sodality of the Church of St. Agnes and St. Theresa Church; a member of St. Thomas the Apostile Church and Sodality. Survivors include three sons, Gerald, Jack and Lt. Col. Paul Machmer; a sister; six grandchildren; and three great-granchildren.
