Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Tuesday, July 12, 2011 Robert "Bumpy" Roberds, 67, of Williams, died Saturday, July 2, 2011. He was born Jan. 13, 1944, in Phoenix. Norvel Owens Mortuary is handling arrangements. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Robert "Bumpy" Roberds (January 13, 1944 - July 4, 2011) Robert “Bumpy” Roberds, 67, of Williams, Arizona , born January 13, 1944 in Phoenix , Arizona , passed away July 4, 2011 in his home. Bumpy was a former member of the Operating Engineer’s Local 428; cowboyed and mined in Ray/Kearney, Arizona ; Farrier; and Blacksmith. His favorite pastime was hunting and camping in the beautiful Kaibab forest outside of Williams. He also was a former member of the Cholla Bay Sportsman Club and loved deep sea fishing. Survivors of Bumpy include his children, Nikki Roberds, Dawn Calhoun, Dustin Roberds; and grandchildren, Katie Sennhenn, Alec Calhoun, Dakota Calhoun, and Wyatt Roberds. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Danny (Bowen) Gray. Services will be held in Bumpy’s home, located at 1644 N. F.S. 2060 Rd, Williams, Arizona , July 16th at noon.
