BARBEE, James Paul

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, July 13, 2011 James Paul Barbee, age 74, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1937, in Belton, Ken., the son of Ivy Cartwright and Carlis C. Barbee. James spent six years in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Inspiration Consolidated Copper for many years until retirement. He loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing. James had a kind heart and was a great dad and papa. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Evelyn Barbee. James leaves behind in loving memory eight sons, James “Angela” Barbee, Jr. of Globe, Ariz., Randy “Crystal” Barbee of Globe, Ariz., Cecil Barbee of Guam, Shawn “Bobbie” Barbee of Globe, Ariz., Billy Barbee of Arizona, Nathan Barbee of Globe, Ariz., Jody “Amber” Barbee of Globe, Ariz. and Jerry Barbee; four brothers, Donald Barbee of South Carolina, Ernie Barbee of Concho, Ariz., Ronald Barbee of Dripping Springs, Ariz. and Danny Barbee of Dripping Springs, Ariz.; three sisters, Zenith Yandell of Concho, Ariz., Carolyn Center of Chandler, Ariz. and Donna Hunter of Safford, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Inurnment was Friday, July 8, 2011 at Pinal Cemetery in Central Heights, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for James P. Barbee were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
