GOULD, Erich Andreas

Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Friday, July 15, 1960, p 8 Year Old Boy Is Traffic Fatality A 1-year-old baby boy, Erich A Gould of Redondo Beach, Calif., was killed and his parents, Mr & Mrs Walter M Gould of the same city, were hospitalized as the result of a traffic accident on Highway 60-70 about 11 miles west of Aguila last Sunday morning. The father was driving the eastbound truck in which the three were traveling when he attempted to pass another eastbound car pulling a house trailer driven by Robert G Elmore, 45, of Tustin, Calif. According to Highway Patrolman Robert Essig, the two vehicles side-swiped and the truck went out of control. The baby was thrown from the truck. Graveside rites for the Gould boy were held Tuesday in the Wickenburg Cemetery with the Rev Dean McMann, vicar of St Albans Episcopal Church, officiating. The baby's parents were brought to Community Hospital here where their condition was reported as satisfactory. This is the third traffic fatality in the Wickenburg Patrol Area so far in 1960. In the late afternoon of June 18, a 2-car accident on Highway 71 about 10 miles northeast of Aguila killed Harry K Nelson of Oklahoma City, Okla. Mrs Connie Stocks of Clinton, Okla., died June 21 of injuries received in that same accident.
