Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Friday, July 22, 1960, p 4 Local Woman's Nephew Lost In Blimp Crash Mrs Colbert Dunnavant has received the tragic news that her nephew, Francis E Blalock, of the U.S. Navy was one of those lost when the huge APG-3W Navy blimp crashed recently off the coast of New Jersey. The body was recovered last Tuesday and taken to Piedmont, Ala., for funeral services and burial. Mr Blalock, who resided in Tom's River, NJ, was the son of Mrs Dunnavant's brother. He was married and the father of three children. He saw service in the Navy in World War II and later re-enlisted.
