Woman Killed In One Of Six Auto Wrecks Reported

Mary Ann McIntyre, 64-year-old Phoenix resident, died in a Blythe hospital at 3:35pm October 27 as the result of injuries received in a one-car accident on Highway 60-70 about 20 miles west of Salome an hour before. According to Sgt. W. O. Dollar of the Highway Patrol, the woman was driving west when she apparently fell asleep, lost control of the car, went off the road and rolled over. She was thrown from the car.

This is the eighth traffic fatality of the year in the Wickenburg Patrol Area.
