The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, July 11, 2003 Margaret Wiese Nye, 57, died on June 15, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on September 17, 1945 in Pine Bluff AK, Margaret was the daughter of Fred and Lillian Wiese. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1963. She attended Washington University in St. Louis MO and the University of Arkansas, where she graduated in 1967. She earned a Masters degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Illinois in 1968. Margaret was active in the Speech Pathology field from 1968 through 1983, when she moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Margaret was married to William Gore Nye, formerly of Rochelle, Illinois. The couple had three sons, William, Jr., Peter and Scott. Margaret is survived by her husband and three sons, a brother, Charles Wiese of St. Louis, Mo. and a sister-in-law, Sandy Wiese of Memphis, TN. Private services will be held on July 26, 2003 in Oregon, IL.
