SWAYZE, Mary Ellan

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, July 11, 2003 Mary Ellan Swayze, 86, of Apache Junction, AZ entered into rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2003. She is again with the love of her life, Lester Swayze, a loving husband, father and grandpa. Their love was true and pure and they were always together through work, travel and family sharing a wonderful 53 years of married bliss together. They were true soul mates. Never once did they have a disagreement and she shined when she spoke of their life together. They made a life for themselves in northern California raising a family before moving to Arizona in 1972. She will be missed dearly and is survived by her immediate family in Apache Junction, daughter Kathy Swazye, son-in-law, Dan Rhodes and granddaughter Tiffany Sams. She shall continue to be a ray of sunshine in our hearts forever. Other surviving children are John of Oregon and Meidra of California and 4 grandchildren. Services for Mary will be Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Melcher's Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Dr., Mesa, Arizona.
