WENTZ, John B.


John B. Wentz, 83, born August 31, 1919; died Wednesday, July 2, 2003 in Stockton, CA. Mr Wentz served as city manager of Beverly Hills, CA; Riverside, CA; Phoenix, AZ and Stockton, CA. A member of Central United Methodist Church, Stockton Rotary Club, past chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, past president of Sister City Association of Stockton, Grandfather's Club, past president of the International City Management Association, Weber Point Coffee Club and a Navy veteran of World War II. He had a very active involvement in supporting activities at Pixie Woods. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Wentz. Mr. Wentz is survived by children, Anna Elise Richert of Pleasanton, CA; John Budd Wentz of Oakland, CA; Barbara Lee Johnson of Scottsdale, AZ and Betty Lou Keehn of Surprise, AZ. Grandfather of 6. A native of Washington DC and raised in Iowa. Memorial Services, Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the Central United Methodist Church; 3700 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA.
