The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, July 13, 2003 John Gene Fiori, 71, retired Financial Supervisor, entered into rest July 10, 2003. John was born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 30, 1931 and served 2 years in the Air Force. John survived by his wife of 51 years, Georgie, Sons John Jr. and Dayton (Cooney) Fiori, 4 Brothers; Joseph Stone, Gary, Rex and Darrell Fiori, 4 Grandsons, Damon, Chad, Jared and John III, 4 Granddaughters, Alena, Dayla, Nicole and Jessica Fiori. 3 Adopted Grandsons and 3 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by son Milo Fiori. John loved life, his family and playing cards. Services will he held on Monday, July 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 8702 W. Campbell Ave., where John was a member of the Agua Fria Ward. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Services, Arrangements entrusted to Greer-Wilson Funeral Home (623) 245-0994.
