Memorial service Wednesday, July 16, 2003, 2pm, 1st Church of the Nazarene 944 E. University, Mesa. Newcomer Family Mortuary of Scottsdale assisted the family. Also Submitted on (07/15/2003)From East Valley Tribune Haven Ross Franklin was born May 31, 1906 in Urbana, IL. He resided in Gilbert, AZ. Haven passed away on July 2, 2003 in Mesa, AZ. Haven was a machinist by trade and a talented musician. He played trombone for the Song Birds from the Pyle Center and the Organ at the Mesa Senior Center. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; sons, Bernard of WI and Haven R. Jr.; and daughter, Lynda of CA; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Roberta Joyce. A memorial for Haven will be held at the 1st Church of the Nazarene, 955 E. University, Mesa, AZ 85203 on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 2 p.m.
