Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Friday, December 2, 1960, p 6 Visitor Here For Thanksgiving Dies What had been planned as a happy Thanksgiving Day with old friends turned out to be a day of tragedy for Mr & Mrs Willie Langerbein and their friends of 20 years standing, Mr & Mrs Joseph Wolfgang Keck of Santa Monica, Calif. The Kecks arrived on Monday. On Thanksgiving morning Mr Keck had a heart attack. He was rushed to Community Hospital where he died in the emergency room at 5:25am. Mr Keck, 64, who knew Mr Langerbein when they both lived in Germany, had visited Wickenburg often and had stated that when he died he would like to be buried here. Following his wishes, funeral services were conducted by the Rev D F O'Sullivan in St Anthony's Catholic Church at 9am last Saturday. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. The widow is the only survivor in this country. There are relatives in Germany.
