The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on July 7, 2011 - John Lawrence Rempt, 48, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 3, 2011, in Kingman. Born in Richmond, Ind., John grew up in La Verne, Calif., before moving to Kingman in 1999. John is survived by his mother, Hetty Frietman; his father, Jan Rempt; his stepmother, Linda Rempt; his brothers, Andrew Rempt and Jan Michael Rempt; and his fiancée, Kimberly Johnson; his children, Matthew Rempt and Katherine Rempt; his stepbrothers, Vernon Ash and Paul Ash; and his stepsister, Jennifer Detton. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org/support/).
