Monday Services for Lyn Edgerton
Private funeral services were conducted in the Wickenburg Chapel at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon by the Rev Dean McMann, Episcopal vicar, for Lyn Edgerton who died at his home in the Country Club Acres at 10pm last Saturday evening after a long illness. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery following cremation.
Mr Edgerton, past president of the Chase Steel & Supply Co. of Los Angeles, and Mrs Edgerton came to Wickenburg from California last October 20 when they occupied their new home here. Mr Edgerton was born in Wayne County, Ind, March 22, 1902, but had lived in the Los Angeles area for the past 34 years.
Mr Edgerton was a past president of the Vail Field Lions Club of Los Angeles, a 32nd degree Mason, a past patron of the Westwood Hills Chapter of Eastern Star, associate guardian of the Bethel 122 chapter of Jobs Daughters, a member of the Jonathan Club and an honorary Kentucky colonel.
Surviving are the widow, Doris; three daughters, Mrs Lynette Whitney of Covina, Calif., Mrs Robert W Langley, Jr, of South Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs Ronald E Lucas of Glendale, Calif; and five grandchildren.
