TRAVIS, Eldon L.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, July 13, 2003 Eldon L. Travis, 69, passed away July 11, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona. Eldon was born February 14, 1934 in Alfalfa, Oklahoma the son of Clinton J. and Eva E. Cook Travis. Eldon served in the US Navy and when leaving the Navy moved to Arizona. He was the owner/operator of Phoenix Electric Motors Inc., he loved fishing in Mexico. He married Jewell E. Tullos in 1952. Eldon is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jewell; mother, Eva; sister, Shirley. Granddaughter: Shawn McMorris; great grandchildren: Kelsey, Hayden and Skylar; a nephew, Randy and a niece Teri. Eldon was preceded in death by his two sons: Greg and Steve. Funeral Services for Eldon will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at the Paradise Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ.
