Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Billy John, Sr. July 01, 2011 Funeral Services for Billy John, Sr., 88, will be held at 9:00 AM (MST),Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the family residence in White Cone, AZ. Interment will follow at the family plot in Na-Ah-Tee, AZ. Billy was born December 17, 1922 in Cedar Springs, AZ, he entered into rest on July 1, 2011 in Flagstaff, AZ. Clans: Ashiini (salt) Born for Spanish/Anglo Nali is Nakaii Chei is Totsohnii (Big Water), but adopted by the Tsinnajinnie Clan, considered them his paternal parent. He has various jobs from working at White mountain sawmill cutting wood, working at Belmont Army Depot during WW II. He worked for El Paso Pipe Line, road construction as well as working for Apache and Santa Fe Railroad. He retired from Santa Fe in 1986. After retirement he continued to stay busy as a rancher. He had multitudes of sheep, goats, cows and horses. His faith in God is truly an inspiration to all that he came in contact with. Always helping someone, even complete strangers. Never asking anything in return. In addition to raising his own children, he took other children into his home and raised them as his own. He is survived by his spouse Lena John of Na-Ah-Tee, children, Sarah Cleveland of Na-Ah-Tee, Eleanora Yellowhair of Ft. Defiance, Billy John, Jr. of Dilcon, Nora John of Na-Ah-Tee, Mary M.Chee of Na-Ah-Tee, Anson John of Gallup, Ernest John of Twin Lakes, Larry John of Na-Ah-Tee, Jerry Yellowhair of Na-Ah-Tee. Preceded in death by step-father Tsinnajinni Tsosie, mother Tsinnajinnie Tsosie�s wife, sisters, Mae Chee Begay, Olive Nez.
