Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona January 5, 1967, page 10 Tolman Grocery Operator Dies Anna M. Tolman, 91 who resided for 29 years in the South Bay area of the California coast, died Monday, Dec. 19, in a Manhattan Beach Convalarium. Mrs. Tolman was born Dec. 10, 1875. Long-time Wickenburg residents will remember her and her husband Adelbert (Dell) Tolman as the operator of the Tolman Grocery here in Wickenburg in the 20’s and 30’s. Mrs. Tolman continued to operate the store for a few years after the death of her husband in 1933 then, after living in Wickenburg for 20 years, left in 1943 to make her home with daughter Vivian Ray in Manhattan Beach. She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Vivian Ray, sons, Hugh Tolman of Redondo Beach and Ralph Tolman of Lompos, 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Interment was at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
