Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona January 26, 1967 Mrs. Bachtel Is Bereaved Mrs. Roy (Evelyn) Bachtel and daughter Claudia were called to Charleston, West Virginia last week by the death of Mrs. Bachtel’s mother, Mrs. Charles (Vernie) Ward on Monday morning, January 16 at the age of 93. She was in a rest home in Charleston at the time. Funeral services were held January 17 in Charleston with burial in that city. In addition to Mrs. Bachtel, Mrs. Ward is survived by two other daughters and a son, all living in West Virginia. Several grandchildren also survive.
