The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, July 16, 2003 Clifford C. Coppinger, 85, of Phoenix Arizona - husband, father, grandfather, retired racehorse trainer. Born Mancos, Colorado 1918 and passed away July 12, 2003. Military service: U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Euna Mae Coppinger, son Jim Coppinger and wife Peggy, daughter Sharon Whitney, grandchildren Becky, Jamie, Kyle, Leonard, Lonnie, Bill, Steve and Wendy, numerous great-grandchildren and a very large extended family that all knew him as Granddad. He will be missed. Memorial Service on Friday, July 18, 2003 at 2pm at Best Funeral Services, 501 E. Dunlap Avenue, Phx Az 85020.
