MILLER, Opal Marie


Opal Marie Miller, 72, of Phoenix AZ (formerly of Rolling Meadows) entered into rest Sunday, July 13, 2003. No longer in pain, she will see the blossoms of her earthly labors from above. She touched the hearts of many being a mother to more than her own, a caring friend of everyone, and will be dearly missed by all. Opal is survived by her forever adoring husband Cilenus ('Sal', 'Bud', 'Shorty'), her loving children, Richard (Mary) of St. Charles IL., Beverly (Jim) Gay of Crystal Lake, IL., Daniel and Michael of Phoenix, Az., Mary (Brad) Greener of Palatine, IL., and Patricia (Stephen) Carrera of Glendale, AZ., her loving grandchildren Brendan (Heather), Charles, Jake, Michelle, Gregg, Joshua, Aaron, Nick, Brie, Alexis and Stephen, brother Thomas (Gladys) Crowe of Tennessee and sister-in-law Leona Cockerell of Spencerville, Ohio. Opal was preceded in death by her son, Charles Eugene. Opal is a former member of St. Collette Church, Rolling Meadow, IL, and a current member of St. Joan of Arc, Phoenix Az. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 17th at St. Joan of Arc, 3801 E. Greenway Rd Phoenix, Az from 1pm to 2pm. A mass will be said in her name immediately following. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shadow Mountain Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Opal's name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
