Last rites paid James Cline

Services for James C. Cline, 76, who died Jan. 27 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, were held in the Tonto Basin School Saturday.  Burial was in the Cline Cemetery.

Mr. Cline, a native of Tonto Basin, had lived in the area most of his life.  He was a former lion hunter, cattle rancher and deputy sheriff in the Payson area.

Surviving are his wife, Martha; three sons, Roy and Frank of Globe and Kenneth of Tonto Basin; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jensen of Globe; a brother, George of Tonto Basin; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
