SIMMONS, James Gregory

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from July 24 to July 31, 2011 - James Gregory Simmons, age 76, a 10-year resident of the Bullhead City Area, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born in Cave-In-Rock, Ill. He was owner-operator for 30 years in the gardening and landscape business, and also owned several other businesses before retirement. He was an avid fisherman and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. Jim will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his first born son, James Gregory, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Audrey; three children, Sheri, Tammy, and Tim; three step-children, Mark, Gary and Nicole; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters, Zona, Nina, Judy, Linda, and Rosemary; and one brother, Claude. A memorial will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Mohave Valley United Methodist Church, 1593 Lipan Blvd., Fort Mohave, Ariz.
