Allen Sim Garber, age 62, died September 28, 2006, at home in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born August 9, 1944, in Evansville, Ind., to Gladys Straughmatt and Arthur Garber.
His mother, Gladys, and his sister, Marilee Carfaro preceded Allen in death.
Allen is survived by his wife, Mae Garber; stepson, Carson Yandell and daughter-in-law, Hannah Yandell; and two grandchildren, Karson and Simon Yandell. Allen is also survived by his sons, Allen Garber, Anthony Garber and Richard Seres; his daughter, Kristan Garber; his either and stepmother, Arthur and Arlene Garber; and three brothers and one sister-in-law, Arthur Garber, Randall and Becky Garber and Jeff Straughmatt.
Allen was employed by MI Windows and Doors as the Traffic Manager for the last five years. He previously worked at Prescott Unified School District as the Transportation Manager and at Earth Products in Prescott Valley. Alien enjoyed family, friends and sports. His passion for art touched his family and friends lives.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support and help during the month prior to Alien's passing.

Services will be at The Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 7763 E. Longlook Drive in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Saturday, October 7, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. Celebration of Life will take place at the Elks Lodge after the service.
