STOVALL, Lloyd Glen


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, June 20, 2006 Loyd Glenn Stovall, 78 of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away June 9, 2006, in Aurora, Colo. He was born Aug. 8, 1927, in Griffen, Arkansas. Loyd is survived by wife, Billie Stovall; two sons, Lloyd Greer (Brenda) of Rayville, La. And Roy Hastings (Kathy) of La Jolla, Calif.; daughter, Louise Cinko of Apple Valley, Calif.; brother Don Stovall (Gladys) of Rayville, La.; two sisters, Alberta Greer of Rayville, La. And Chariene Smith (Newton) of Oak Ridge, La.; four grandchildren, Gloria Oahoa (Bob) of Aurora, Colo., Michael Cinko (Janice) of Apple Valley, Calif., Nicholas Hastings of La Jolla, Calif., Brett Hastings of Tampa, Fla.; mother-in-law Eunice Moslander; sisters-in-law, Ann Helquist and Betty Gandee; brother-in-law, Richard Helquist of Chino Valley, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Helene Stovall; son David Gene Greer; brother Edward Stovall; sisters, Mabel Laney and Verna Lee Duggan. Loyd served four years in the U.S. Army in WWII and in the Air Force retiring after 21-1/2 years, serving in Korea and Vietnam. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on June 30, 2006, at Amercan Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive in Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
