Bailey, ex-sheriff of Pima county and superintendent of the Santa Catalina federal prison camp for many years, who died Sunday night in Phoenix after a six-month illness, were held at 4 p. m, today in Reilly's undertaking chapel with the local Elks lodge conducting. Burial followed in Evergreen cemetery. Bailey, 61 years old at the time of his death, had lived at 1223 North First avenue here for the last three years with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth E. Bailey, a state pioneer who died last year. Surviving Bailey are his sister, Mrs. Mary Alwin, of Tucson; two half-brothers, Leo Bailey, Riverside, Calif., and Jules Bailey, National City, Calif., and two cousins, Mrs. Neva Kelly, Tucson, and Mrs. Sara Tethram, Nogales.
