Mrs. Collins, 87, Parker Pioneer, Dies; Rites Sun.

Funeral services for Mrs. Abbie E. Collins, 87-year-old Parker pioneer
and proprietor of the Parker undertaking establishment, will be held at Parker tomorrow morning, according to word received last night from the northern Yuma county community.

Mrs. Collins died yesterday.

Born in Ireland, she came to northern Yuma county many years ago, being among those who settled in Parker when the townsite was established in 1911.  Her husband, John F. Collins, died in 1918.  He was the town's undertaker and was at one time justice of peace there.

So far as local friends know, there are no close relatives surviving.
