Pioneer Arizona Resident William Aldon Reed Is Dead Funeral services for pioneer Arizonan William Aldon Reed, 82, will be held at 10 a. m. tomorrow at Bring's Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A native of Kansas, Mr. Reed died Friday in Carl Hayden Hospital. He lived at 1826 S. Santa Cruz Lane. Mr. Reed homesteaded near Bowie in 1912 and moved to Tucson five years later. He was employed by Southern Pacific Co. for 23 years until disabled. Mr. Reed then owned and operated Riverside Dairy until the late 1940s. Mr. Reed is survived by his widow, Margaret; daughter, Mrs. Alistene Westmoreland, sons, W. ,J. Reed and Lloyd C. Reed, all of Tucson, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
