VOGELSONG, Naomi Maxine

The Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on July 26, 2011 - Naomi Maxine Vogelsong passed away at Desert Highlands Care Center on Saturday, July 23, 2011, after a prolonged illness. She was 87 year old. She had been a resident of Kingman for the last 30 years and was the female singer in the Buddy and Maxine Vogue, and the Country Playboys Band for many years. She played country music in the Kingman area for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Vogelsong, and son, Roger Sawyer. She leaves four daughters, Marsha Powell Forbrag of Atlanta, Barbara Brewer of Kingman, Pamela Sawyer of Kingman and Kandy Clemmings of Newark, Ohio; and a son, Kenneth Sawyer of El Cajon, Calif. She will be missed by all.
