St Louis (MO) Post-Dispatch Wednesday, July 27, 2011 Betty J (nee Jones) Macheca, passed away peacefully at Mari de Villa Retirement Center on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at age 90. Beloved wife of the late John C Macheca; mother of Beth Koon, Blair Dalton, and John C Macheca Jr; sister of the late Mary Ann Jones Cowhey; aunt of a large and loving family of nieces and nephews. Her lifelong love of horses inspired her to ride almost daily until her early 80's. She spent a good part of her time at her second home in Wickenburg, Arizona. Services: Memorial Mass will be Friday, July 29, 10:00am at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Road. In lieu of flowers Betty requested contributions to the Humane Society of Missouri. www.boppchapel.com
