BROWN, Benjamin Albert


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, June 25, 2006 Benjamin Albert Brown passed away tragically on June 22, 2006. He was born Sept. 9, 1986, in Prescott. Ben was raised in Chino Valley. He attended Chino Valley schools and graduated from Chino Valley High School in 2005. He belonged to Freaks of Nature car club. The club and his truck were his passion. As soon as he turned 21, Ben wanted to go through the Police Academy. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Ben was very lovable, free spirited and willing to help in time of need and to give his help to all who needed it. Ben was preceded in death by his father, Merril Brown. He is survived by his mother Annette Thompson; sisters, Melissa Brown and Rafel Cox; grandmother, Marie Brown; stepfather Robert Thompson; aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and many, many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations will be set up at Arizona State Credit Union. Ben worked at Wal-Mart and also worked with his uncle building fences, which he totally enjoyed. Visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday June 27, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, at Saint Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 6062 N. Highway 89, Chino Valley, with Father Fred Leclaire officiating.
