Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from July 27 to August 3, 2011 - OO LI MYUNG YE NU While embraced by family, Muriel "Tiny" Kum Yong Mahoney, age 86, was peacefully reunited with her father, Kyung Sik Chay, her mother, Nu See Chay, and her five sisters and brother on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Tiny was born on October 1, 1924, in Kapoho, Hawaii. She lived and graduated high school in Waialua, Hawaii. Tiny loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She delighted in fishing, gardening, cooking, reading, old movies, traveling, pets and wildlife. But most of all, her endless, passionate love and laughter belonged to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, five sisters and brother. Tiny is survived by her beloved husband of 63-years, Patrick John Mahoney; two sons, Michael "Bubba" Mahoney and Dennis Park; four daughters, Colleen "Lolly" Hansen, Christine "Christy" Barros, Patricia "Tisha" Cotten, and Maureen "Reen" Duncan; 23 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our hearts. Tiny's family and friends will be celebrating her love and life on Monday, July 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.
