Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from July 31 to August 7, 2011 - Herbert "Mike" Michael Weeks, age 58, a 34-year resident of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Mohave Valley, Ariz., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. Mike was born on March 9, 1953, in Lakeland, Fla. At the age of four, the family moved to Needles, Calif., where Mike graduated from Needles High School. In the past 34 years, he then moved, and resided in both Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Mohave Valley, Ariz. He was employed by Santa Fe Rail Road, and a registered masseuse with his own business in Laughlin and Palm Springs. Mike was a wonderful son, and a loving brother and father. Mike was preceded in death by sister, Patsy Ann Weeks. Mike is survived by his daughter, Patrice Michelle Weeks Whiting; step-son, Jeremy Puentes; parents, Herbert and Thelma Weeks; brother, Jeffrey Randall Weeks; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Florida.
