WHITE, Melvin


Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from July 28 to August 4, 2011 - Melvin White, age 79 of Kingman, Ariz, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, in Fort Mohave, Ariz. He was born January 14, 1932, in Phoenix, Ariz. Melvin was employed as a facility technician with Silver Rider Transit in Laughlin, Nev., and served as a humble elder of the Bullhead City Seventh Day Adventist Church. Melvin was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife Anita; five daughters, Melva of China, Melvina and Melinda of Denver, Colo, Meliena, of Oakton, Va., and Melody of Deerfield, Fla; a stepdaughter, Michele of Berkeley, Calif.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Seventh Day Adventist Church of Bullhead City. Pastor Curt Bradford will officiate. A burial will follow at Desert Lawn Cemetery, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Fort Mohave, Ariz. Arrangements are under the direction of Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, Bullhead City, Arizona.
