MYERS, Joyce Marie

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, January 9, 2007 Joyce Marie Myer, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Prescott Samaritan Center in Prescott. She was born March 18, 1917, in West Middlesex, Pa., the daughter of Harry and Delma (Mayrs) Gibson. Joyce was a member of Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending church and serving the Lord. Joyce worked with the Cub and Boy Scouts for many years and loved playing with her great-grandchildren. Joyce was proud of her dedication to God. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Evelyn L. Larriba of Prescott; brothers Ronald Gibson of New Castle, Pa., Howard and Connie Gibson of California, and Robert and Jan Gibson of California; and sisters Dorothy Price of New Castle, Pa., and Ariene and Gerald Stitt of Prescott Valley, Ariz. She is also survived by grandchildren Brian, Janine, Joaquin, and Kathleen; and great-grandchildren Ashley, Sheala, Sheridee, Destiny, Reynaldo, Austin, Douglas, Amanda, Sarafina, Diana, Donovan, and Nicholas. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert R. Myer; and a brother, Dewayne S. Gibson. A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley with burial to take place at a later date at Graceland Memorial Park in New Castle, Pa.
