Refugio M. “Cuco” Hernandez, 84, of Parker, Ariz., was united in heaven with his wife, Eduijes, on July 20, 2011. He was born in Chamberino, New Mexico on Feb. 24, 1927. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Maria Luisa Hernandez; and his two sisters, Manuela and Berta.

Cuco is survived by sons, Joe (Manuela), Art (Cindi), Raul (Linda) Hernandez; daughters, RoseLinda (Alex) Venegas, MaryLou (Goyo) Godinez; brother Salvador Hernandez; sisters, Guadalupe Chavez, Luz Valdez and Socorro Eason; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral services were held July 25, at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, Scottsdale, Arizona.
