Molly Padilla died peacefully July 22, 2011, surrounded by her family in Gilbert. She was born Oct. 24, 1933, in Florence.
Molly spent her life completely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandchildren and extended family.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Padilla; daughters: Bobbie (George) Mitchell, Cathie (Bob) Soliz in Yuma, Terri (Eddie DeLaHerta) Munoz of Gilbert, and Margie Zavala of Pinetop; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother Louie (Virginia) Rivera; sisters: Maryann (Manny) Celaya, Olivia (Herbert) Padilla and Rachel Silvas, all of Florence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andronico Ramirez and Maggie and Manuel Rivera; brother Andy Ramirez and sister Delia Rivera.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 4, at St. Mary of the Angels Church in Pinetop, beginning with a rosary at 10 a.m., followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. Molly will be interred at Angels Rest Columbarium immediately following the mass.
