LEONARD, Raymond

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/02/2011 Raymond Leonard, 83, CW2 Retired, died Monday, July 25, 2011, at his residence in Eagar. He was born Oct. 3, 1927, in New York to Fred and Daisy Leonard. Ray, a US Army Veteran, served his country during WWII and the Korean War. He served in the Army Air Corps as a door gunner and later served during the Korean War. He retired from the service as a Warrant Officer in 1967. Ray is survived by his son, Ray Leonard Jr., of Land O’Lakes, Fla.; and sister Helen Pratt of New York. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
