INSCORE, Vera Margaret

The Sun, Yuma, Arizona September 28, 2005 Vera Margaret Inscore Vera Margaret Inscore, 95, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2005. She was born December 1, 1909 to Art and Johanna Arkinson in Tekoa, Washington. Her early years were spent in Idaho on her father's ranch. She married Howard Issac Inscore on September 29, 1927 in St. Maries, Idaho. They had two children, Norma and Robert (Bob). Howard was a logger in Sisters, Oregon and Vera worked in the local library. The family moved to Creswell where Howard hauled timber and Vera worked in the maternity ward of Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene, Oregon. Vera was preceded in death by Norma and Howard, so she left Oregon and moved to Yuma, Arizona to be near her sister Loie McCleary in 1970. She was active in the Golden Road Runner dance group for many years. She lived in Magnolia Village, Catalina Square and Yuma Life Care. Vera is survived by her son, Robert (Erma); six grandchildren, Terri and Mare Myers and Cathy, Michael, Russell and Robb Inscore. She has ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-granchildren. Graveside services will be held in Eugene, Oregon.
