BRUMM, Omar L.

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, August 03, 2011 Omar L. Brumm, born to George Henry Brumm (Hank) and Elsie Nora Yates on Sept. 25, 1922 in Upton, Wyo., passed away on June 18, in Morristown, Ariz. Omar moved to Arizona in 1933 at the age of 11, where he graduated from Morristown Elementary in 1936, and Wickenburg High School in 1940. Omar married Eva June McKenzie on Oct. 4, 1941. Omar worked in construction as a carpenter for JF Long and Del E. Webb. He was also a member of the Mason Hassayampa Lodge 37, and Carpenters 906. Omar is survived by his children Nancy M Tannio (Dominic) and Richard M. Doane (Anna, sister Elsie Ann Verzani, six grandchildren, and 17 great-grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife June in October 1982, brothers Raymond M. Brumm and Donald H. Brumm (Ted). Private family services will held at a later date. Arrangements are by David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home of Wickenburg.
