DALE, Barbara Royce

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, August 03, 2011 Barbara Royce Dale passed away peacefully at Hospice Hawaii in Palolo Valley, Honolulu. She was 84. She was born Feb. 14, 1927 in Penn Yan, N.Y. to Ulysses H. and Doris L. Newland. Barbara lived one third of her life in Penn Yann, N.Y., spent the next third in Globe, Ariz. and the final third of her life in Honolulu, Hawaii. She worked for the State and County judicial systems in both Arizona and Hawaii. Barbara was predeceased in death by her husband, Richard D. Dale; son, Stephen R. Dale; brother, Robert Newland; and sister, Jeane Lutwiniak. She is survived by her four children, Richard D. Dale II (Cathie) of New Mexico, Allen Dale (Tammy) of Higley, Ariz., Mitchell Dale of Globe, Ariz. and Sandi Dale Kieffer (Gary) of Vigliano d’Asti, Italy; and five grandchildren, Wendy Dale of Cochabama, Boliva, Heather Dale Choudri (Ian) of Abu Dhabi, UEA, Catherine Dalle Miller (Christian) of New York City, N.Y., Richard D. Dale III of Mesa, Ariz. and Kelly Dale Kirschner (Jeff) of Glendale, Calif. She also leaves her siblings, Judi, Tim, Martin and Joe Newland of upstate New York, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and three great-grandchildren. In life she enjoyed traveling and exploring her beautiful environments, visiting with friends and family, music, animals and art. She will be deeply missed. A family celebration of her life is planned for the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to Hospice Hawaii, 860 Iwilei Rd., Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.
