Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, August 03, 2011 Barbara J. Brewer, age 75, of Claypool, Ariz. passed away on July 24, 2011 at Heritage Health Care Center. She was born on Aug. 31, 1935 in Arkansas. Barbara moved to Arizona when she was 10. She married James Brewer when she was 21. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2002; son, Mark Brewer in 1992; brother, Ronald Lee Waldrup in 1998; mother, Ruth Swanson in 2000. She loved God, her cats, politics, crocheting, coin collecting and baking. Barbara will be remembered for her strong will, her laugh and her big heart. She was a long time member of the Miami Church of Christ. She is survived by two sisters, Joyce (Manuel) Medrano of Claypool, Ariz. and Christine Formanek of Globe, Ariz.; niece, Dani (Scott) Crick of Claypool; nephews, Sam Medrano of Bullhead City and Manny Medrano of Phoenix. Memorial services will be held on Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at Miami Church of Christ at 735 W. Sullivan St. in Miami, Ariz. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
