TRACY, Jerome Alden


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, August 2, 2011 - Jerome Alden Tracy passed away on July 18, 2011. He was born April 15, 1926. Jerome had a love for life. Among his accomplishments were underwater demolition technician during WWII, a rancher in Reno, Nev. and a busy life in Hawaii. Jerome retired to Lake Havasu City in 1978 with his late wife, Velma, where he enjoyed fishing and rock hunting with his sons Jerome and Jon. Jerome met Pam at UPS where she works and after proposing over 400 times, they eloped to Las Vegas. Jerome was known in Lake Havasu at the tall man with a smile and a hat. He will be remembered by many as "Sweetie". Jerome is survived by his wife Pamela Edenfield Tracy and sons, Jerome E. Tracy and Jon B. Tracy. A memorial service will take place at Lakeview Community Church, Sat. Aug. 6 at 1 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Havasu would be appreciated.
