Angela Agatha Sandoval
"Our" beloved sister "Angie" died peacefully Saturday, July 30, 2011, on her voyage to her eternal heavenly presence with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Angela was born May 31, 1917, in St. Johns. She spent her childhood at the Sandoval family home in Concho and graduated from St. Johns High School. She relocated to Phoenix at the onset of WW II where she joined the ‘war effort' as "Angie the Riveter" with Goodyear Aircraft Corp. She subsequently spent many years crafting wedding apparel in the bridal wear industry.
She devoted her life to helping Mom Aurora in the upbringing and nurturing of the siblings and grandchildren in addition to a very active participation in "Living the Roman Catholic Way of Life." In 1993 she and brother Ray returned to Concho to live in a peaceful, happy retirement.
A Rosary will be at 9 a.m. held Friday, Aug. 5, with a funeral mass following at 10 a.m. at San Rafael Catholic Church in Concho.
