Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from August 2 to August 9, 2011 Billy Jack Burrows, age 78, an 8-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Hualapai Mountain Medical Center in Kingman, Ariz. He was born May 22, 1933, in Texas. Billy was a donor so others could live on to a better life. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn Ann; and a sister and brother. Billy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marilyn; five children, Kellyn, Candice, Jacqueline, Matthew and Lisa; sister Barbara, in California; brother Allen, in Colorado; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a wonderful exchange student Jeab, from Thailand. A celebration of Billy's life will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Sunridge Village, 839 Landon Drive, Bullhead City, Ariz. Billy will be buried with his daughter, Marilyn Ann, in Payson Pioneer Cemetery on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Arrangements are under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and also the Neptune Society.
